This product is way easier to take than capsules! Just shake the bottle well, then squirt 1 dropper into a glass of water. The flavor is mild and pleasant. It's lightly sweet due to the content of organic vegetable glycerin. Simple ingredients: pine bark extract, glycerine and purified water. Does not contain alcohol and sugar. The label says pine bark and it does taste like what a tree would provide. Shockingly though it's not a bad taste at all. It is extremely earthy though. I can't speak on all of the health benefits of the supplement but the taste was truly surprising.

This supplement has many healthy benefits. It's also very easy for the body to absorb in liquid form. I will say that the flavor is not the best. In my opinion it has a bitter, earthy taste to it. I have to mix it in tea to try and disguise the flavor, however for all the healthy benefits, I believe it's worth it.

I'm accustomed to taking a lot of herbal and natural supplements in many different forms, so I've been able to take these drops without any issue. I have been using antioxidant supplements for several years. This is the first time that I have used Pine Bark Extracts Tincture. In the past, I have used gummies or capsules. I found the tincture to be a fine delivery system for me. The bottle contains three ingredients - Pine Bark Extract, glycerin and water. The glycerin makes the tincture sweet and there is a very faint hint of pine. I don't think I would notice the pine if I didn't know it was there. I don't even bother to mix the tincture with water or other liquid. I just drop it under my tongue to ingest sublingually. As a rural woman, I've always known the purity of Pine Trees even if it's just finding peace sitting among them. Anyhow, this tincture is good stuff. I often have a hard time swallowing stuff like this but this doesn't have that awful texture to it that most liquid supplements tend to have. It's also got a good taste, mild but tasty enough, so you don't necessarily need to put it in a drink. You can, though! I've put in my tea a couple times and it works nicely that way, too. As far as the effects: I have noticed I seem a bit more focused and my skin hasn't been so bad. I'm about to be 40 and the hormone fluctuation tends to make my skin a mess so I need all the natural help I can get. My pores seem less clogged from oils. I don't have as many breakouts. Could be a fluke but I'm confident enough to give the nod to this tincture.

I’m not big into tinctures generally—I usually just want a capsule I can knock back and forget about. However, a trusted friend recommended pycnogenol for an issue we both have (Rhymes with “schmaynauds”) and this tincture was the one pine bark supplement that was available at the time she mentioned this. Pycnogenol is basically the thing you want to be getting from pine bark supplements. As expected, it does make me feel like I’m licking a Christmas tree (I basically am), and this flavor would probably be delicious in a martini if that were my thing at all. It’s a little annoying to have to take it 3 times a day because I’m busy, but the dropper is probably too small to fit a full day’s dosage. If BioKrauter has a highly absorbable pill or capsule form I am interested in that, although the tincture is great if you can’t swallow pills (or just want to mix it in a martini). While it may be coincidental because I’ve been better about wearing slipper socks too, I’ve already felt an improvement in the issue I’m trying to address. As with any supplement, it takes longer than a typical review window to know what long-term payoffs there are, so I’ll update if something changes.

All of the tinctures I've tried from this brand have been high quality. This one was particularly interesting to me because I was already taking a pine bark supplement to help maintain healthy blood pressure levels. Pine bark has been used in clinical studies which have shown it to have a positive effect on this. I can't really opine on how well it works or even if it works because my pressures are normal. The tincture itself tastes like you'd expect being that it's made from pine bark. This may be why most people prefer this supplement in pill form. I actually prefer taking a tincture because it's easier to swallow and has a much better absorption rate. I got this because I had read in several medical journals that pine tincture can help as an antioxidant or anti-inflammatory, so I wanted to try it. Although it tastes fine by itself, I found mixing this within a tiny amount of juice was helpful for me and love that there is no aftertaste after using this. I also love that they have the dropper system, rather than pill, tablet, or capsule form because the dropper is so easy to use…simply measure and take right away or mix into a drink, and this can start working right away. I have tried some other supplements from this manufacturer, and they all have been excellent. They seem to have high quality standards for their products, hitting all the boxes for being vegan, free of GMO’s, and being sugar-free and alcohol-free. This is yet another great Biokrauter product. I have purchased several other items prior to this one and I have loved them all. I have purchased pine bark and/or pycnogenol in the past to give to my dog and I have also taken it myself and have had positive results. This is a sweet liquid and it tastes good. Pine bark is packed with plant polyphenols with potential antioxidant, anti inflammatory and anti microbial properties. There are numerous preclinical and clinical research reports detailing these effects in the literature. I came across this tincture while actually looking for oral products that are recommended for skincare. I've consumed my fair share of pine needle tea over the years, and I love the taste and scent of pine. So, I thought I would give it a shot. This tincture has such a mild, pleasant, sweet flavor that I'm pretty sure people that have an aversion to pine would still be able to take it. Anything that I take orally is always followed up with plenty of water, but I don't even bother actually putting the tincture into my water. I just place it directly under my tongue. I've quickly grown to love the flavor and end up looking forward to taking it every day. I can't say that I've seen any improvement in the quality of my skin, but I'm pretty sure it will take a while to notice any of those benefits. I plan to finish this bottle and order more before I run out. This is definitely going into my daily supplements!

This BioKrauter Pine Bark Extract tastes good to me plain, but it is easy to add an extract like this to my tea, or a glass of water. One thing that always surprises me about Pine Bark Extract is that I feel more alert after taking it. I have taken Pine Bark extract before, and from what I’ve read, French Maritime Pine Bark Extract (which this is) is really the best . It is the source of the antioxidant Pycnogenol , but the advantage of taking actual Pine Bark Extract instead of (or in addition to) Pycnogenol is that the bark also contains other beneficial substances such as Catechins and Proanthocyanidins . I am very happy with the quality of this supplement and I think the price is very reasonable.

This is kind of an old-timey supplement that has stood the test of time. I will say that the only drawback, imo, is that it does taste like you'd expect pine bark to taste. Even at that, it's not horrid, and I just take it straight or in a shot of water and get it down and over with. I think the improved absorption factor of a tincture makes the momentary regret more than a fair trade-off.

Pine Bark extract contains pycnogenol which is known to be beneficial to vein health. This tincture came freshly sealed in a bottle and boxed. The cap doubles as a convenient dropper. The taste is not bad considering it is pine bark. It has a pleasant almost smokey flavor. I use this in my tea and if anything it makes it taste better. Pine bark has been used for hundreds, if not thousands, of years by indigenous folks around the world. I like using it for lung and immunity support, and have been impressed by some of the initial research that I've read about this product. This tincture is great: I tried it in a large glass of water and couldn't taste the pine at all, just the glycerin. Then I tried it in a small 2-3 oz serving of water and did taste a hint of pine. The flavor is very mild and easily masked, if pine is not your thing. I'm glad it's organic (but where is the certification labeled?!) Overall, a great product. I've been very impressed with Bio Krauter products so far, as they are well-balanced taste-wise and very potent. This product does not disappoint. Recommended!

I've never taken a tincture before, and I was curious. This option has quality packaging. The taste was withstandable (but I like gin). I have a tough time discerning if there was a positive impact - but I am pretty sensitive to cases where a supplement doesn't agree with me or has some negative impact. I'm happy to report that over several days, I didn't seem to have any negative impact. I will finish the bottle - and consider repurchasing if I seem to have any positive impacts. Worth a try.

I've tried a few of the BIO KRAUTER Tinctures and found that I liked the others quite a bit..they've all had a slightly sweet taste and what I'd consider a mild taste when taken directly. I was skeptical I'd like the pine flavor, but surprisingly it's not bad. I can certainly taste pine, but again it's mild and I think if you mixed this into any sort of flavored drink you'd hardly notice. All of their products come packaged nicely with quality bottles/droppers.
